One of my favorite genres of reading is Greek mythology. I just finished a book on Hercules called Hercules: The Complete Myths of a Legendary Hero. In the book, Hercules promised that he would complete all the labors. If he didn't he would die. I especially liked how Hercules persevered and didn't quit!
